Crazy evening

Trees on fire, transformers on fire, green awnings blowing by, gas station roofs coming down, huge trees falling—Tropical Storm Florence is unleashing on Hoke County.Power is still ON in  some places, but there are up to 20,000 homes and businesses without in Hoke County. So far, 1.66 inches of rain has fallen downtown Raeford. We've had wind gusts knocking on the door of 50 mph. Emergency officials are out answering calls, and we still have a bit better than 24 hours to go.
Though the forecast is for winds to hold or slightly decrease, it's going to be tomorrow night before any real decline in wind speeds sticks.

Here's the NWS radar estimate of total storm rainfall so far.
